Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer specializing in C#/modern .NET to help build and scale cloud-native, event-driven systems on AWS. This role is vital in developing and maintaining robust payment processing solutions that align with our mission of simplicity, integrity and the customer experience. Based in the United States, If you enjoy designing resilient backend services and taking ownership of production systems, we’d love to talk.



What you’ll work on:

Building backend services in C# / modern .NET
Designing event-driven architecture using SQS, SNS, and Lambda
Running containerized workloads on ECS Fargate
Working with MySQL at scale
Improving performance, reliability, and system design
Ensuring observability and monitoring with tools like Datadog
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
Experience working in Agile development environments.
Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Prior experience in payment processing or financial technology is a plus but not required.
Hands-on experience with AWS (ECS Fargate, SQS, SNS, Lambda)


What we’re looking for:

5+ years of professional software engineering experience
Strong C# / .NET background
Experience designing event-driven or distributed systems
Solid MySQL experience
Experience with observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.) is a plus
Bonus: Redis, infrastructure-as-code, advanced monitoring
