The Role As a Senior Software Engineer at Crstl, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our platform. By joining our team, you will have a chance to help us architect our systems to accelerate the growth of our retailer network and integrations marketplace. You’ll also help us design and implement new feature capabilities to support our increasingly diverse customer base. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using Node.js, Typescript, React, Google Cloud Platform, MongoDB, and Postgres Contribute to the overall architecture and design of our platform and APIs, while making tradeoffs that consider sustainable technical implementation & business goals Take ownership of high-priority projects and run with them independently Scale systems to support a rapidly growing customer base Leverage agentic AI tools (such as Cursor, Claude Code) throughout the development lifecycle – from brainstorming specs to building features Own features across the stack, including backend services and associated front-end components, using AI agents to accelerate development Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members Contribute to the overall availability of the mission-critical services we provide to customers Interact directly with customers as needed to debug engineering issues Experiment with the latest technologies such as generative AI Improve engineering standards, tooling and processes Mentor junior engineers About You 5-8 years of experience in software engineering.
