Senior Software Engineer, Backend (typescript, node.js)



We’re hiring a senior backend engineer to join a high-performing engineering team building critical infrastructure powering a rapidly scaling product used by tens of thousands of businesses. This role focuses on designing and operating reliable backend systems that directly drive customer outcomes and business growth.



This is a high-ownership role where you’ll work on production systems at scale, owning problems end-to-end and contributing to core platform architecture.



What you’ll work on

design, build, and operate scalable backend systems in production
own business-critical infrastructure that directly impacts product performance and reliability
work closely with product, data, and engineering teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
improve system architecture, performance, and reliability across core services
contribute to technical direction and help scale backend systems to support rapid growth


Ideal candidate profile

5+ years of backend software engineering experience in production environments
strong experience building and operating scalable systems end-to-end
strong proficiency in typescript and node.js
experience working on high-scale, customer-facing products
ability to take ownership of complex technical problems and deliver independently
strong engineering fundamentals, system design skills, and product thinking
