In this role, you will architect and implement solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs), focusing on effective context management and seamless integration. You will work closely with the engineering and product teams to drive projects forward, navigating ambiguity with a pragmatic, independent work style. Position Responsibilities Lead AI Development: Spearhead the design and implementation of the "Aurora" AI customer service agent. Architect LLM Solutions: Build and refine systems involving Large Language Models, with a heavy focus on prompt engineering and context management. Integration & Performance: Handle streaming service integration, performance tuning, and potentially speech-to-text/text-to-speech functions. Independent Execution: Take ownership of complex problems, using a "rinse and repeat" approach to test hypotheses and deliver results without constant supervision. Communication: Clearly communicate technical concepts and project intent to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Position Qualifications Experience: 6 to 8+ years of relevant software engineering experience. Required Skills: Strong proficiency in Python. Deep understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) and context management techniques. Preferred Skills: Experience with Go (Golang) (Highly valued). Experience with front-end development (React, TypeScript). ML model or LLM model fine-tuning. Familiarity with telephony or voice integration. Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment. Background in e-commerce or consumer-facing technologies is a plus. Attributes: Generalist Mindset: Willingness to dive into new technologies and "wear many hats." The reasonably expected pay for this position is $160,000 - $220,000 for the level scoped. Our salary bands are structured based on a combination of geographic tiers and internal leveling.
