For more information, visit integralads.com.We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Walled Gardens teamWhat you'll get to do:Design, code and maintain components aggregating tens of billions of daily transactionsScale applications and architectures to handle billions of requests and billions of records in the most cost-effective wayLead the entire software lifecycle including hands-on development, code reviews, testing, deployment, and documentation for streaming, batch ETL and RESTful APIsWork on Big Data technologies such as Databricks, Spark and columnar databasesMentor junior team membersYou should apply if you have most of this:5+ years of recent hands-on Java experience, with experience in Scala a plusRegular use of collections, multi-threading, JVM memory model, etc.Experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot and related technologiesGreat understanding of designing for performance, scalability, reliability and observabilityExperience working with AWS services (S3, DynamoDB, Lambda, EKS)Interpersonal and communication skillsBonus points:Python experienceExperience in Databricks, Spark, delta tables, workflows, notebooks a big plusIn-depth understanding of algorithms, scalability and various tradeoffs in a Big Data settingSolid understanding of database fundamentals, good knowledge of SQLGood knowledge of Linux command line toolsExposure to messaging frameworks like SQS / Kinesis or similarIf you are a solid backend Java developer looking to leap into and learn Big Data, we will consider you!New York Applicants: The salary range for this position is $100,800 - $172,800.
