Attain Talent is partnering closely with one of our affiliated portfolio companies to hire a Senior .NET Software Engineer (Backend) to join its Product Development team. This team delivers high‑quality SaaS products in a fast‑paced Agile environment, supporting institutions across the higher‑education landscape.



The Senior .NET Software Engineer will contribute to the design, implementation, and testing of backend‑focused SaaS applications that power complex, data‑driven workflows.



Job Responsibilities

Design, implement, and test backend components for multiple SaaS products within a fast‑paced Agile development environment.
Build and maintain enterprise applications using .NET, C#, Web APIs, JavaScript, SQL Server, and related backend technologies.
Develop software features involving complex business rules and requirements, ensuring high-quality, reliable functionality.
Collaborate closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable system designs and provide guidance to the development team.
Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures to support reporting and data‑driven product features.


Required Skills

BS in Computer Science/Engineering or relevant work experience
Experience developing enterprise applications using the .NET Framework, C#, JavaScript, Jest, Web Services/Web APIs, and SQL Server
Experience in object-oriented design and development
Experience with databases, SQL, stored procedures, and reporting
Experience developing software products with complex business rules and requirements
Demonstrated ability to work with both technical and non-technical individuals in the development of business systems and providing direction to the development team
Demonstrable skills in problem solving and working in a fast-paced software development environment
Must be a team player and have excellent communication skills
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
