A fast-growing, Series E healthtech company is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer (AI) to build and scale integrations that power its AI-driven care platform focused on chronic metabolic conditions.


You’ll work at the intersection of backend systems, healthcare integrations, and clinical operations- partnering with backend, mobile, AI, and clinical teams to improve workflows and member experience.


What You’ll Do:
Build and maintain backend services using Java, Python, Spring Framework, and REST APIs
Contribute to architecture design and backend platform development
Develop and ship new product features supporting internal engineering teams
Lead backend API development for new platform initiatives (including AI-driven Copilot-style products)


What We’re Looking For:
Strong backend engineering background with deep API development experience
Proficiency in Java, Python, and Spring ecosystem
Hands-on experience building RESTful services and scalable backend platforms
Exposure to AI/ML product development and AI-driven feature implementation
Solid architecture design fundamentals and backend system design experience
