About the job
We’re looking for a Senior SQL Developer / Data Engineer who can take ownership of database development, data migration, and integration efforts across a modern Azure-based environment.
This role involves SQL development, data engineering, XML/JSON processing, Azure cloud migrations, API integration support, and hands-on work with SSO authentication frameworks.
It's a 6+ Months and Fully REMOTE role with one of our Financial clients
Independent Consultants Only — No Third-Party Candidates


🛠 Key Responsibilities

✔ Develop, review, and optimize SQL code, stored procedures, and views
✔ Troubleshoot performance issues across Dev, QA, Stage & Prod
✔ Process and transform XML & JSON airline datasets
✔ Support migration efforts from Snowflake → Azure and On-Prem → Azure

✔ Assist with API integration (C#, .NET, JSON payloads)
✔ Maintain & develop SSRS reports
✔ Manage releases via Git, Azure DevOps, Liquibase, etc.
✔ Support SQL Server upgrades (2017 → 2019)
✔ Handle SSO integrations and authentication workflows

✔ Ensure strong security practices (encryption, access control, PCI/SOX-style compliance)


🎯 Required Experience

🔹 10+ years SQL Development
🔹 10+ years with stored procedures
🔹 Strong data migration & XML/JSON processing experience
🔹 3+ years Azure (VMs, pipelines, deployments, monitoring)
🔹 Hands-on SSO integration experience
🔹 Data engineering experience is a plus (ETL/ELT pipelines)
