About the job
We are seeking a Senior SQL & Power BI Developer to lead and execute complex application development, database engineering, ETL pipelines, and enterprise data reporting. This role functions as a technical lead, contributing to systems architecture, data modelling, and large-scale reporting solutions while mentoring junior developers.


You will work across Oracle, SQL Server, Azure SQL, MySQL, and modern BI/ETL ecosystems to design, optimize, and deliver mission-critical applications and insights.


Location: Downey, CA (Remote – Candidate should live within 20 miles)

Job Type: Contract (12-24 months)



What You’ll Do:

Develop & optimize advanced SQL, PL/SQL, and database architectures
Build Power BI dashboards & advanced data models
Lead data-driven projects, mentor junior developers
Design/maintain ETL pipelines and integrate multi-source data
Ensure high performance, security, and documentation standards


What We’re Looking For:

7+ years in programming, systems analysis, or database development
Strong SQL, PL/SQL, Power BI, data modeling & ETL experience
Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, Azure SQL, or MySQL
Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical teams
