Senior Platform Developer – AI Investment Platform | FinTech | Backend | Spring Boot | Python

Our mission is to redefine the investment experience through AI intelligence, data-driven insights and seamless trading capabilities.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Platform Developer with deep backend expertise and strong problem-solving skills to join our core development team. This is a rare opportunity to work on complex systems at the intersection of finance, AI, data analytics, and cloud computing, while helping to shape the architecture of a next-generation AI based investment platform and services.
Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems for data ingestion, analytics, and real-time trading execution.
Build and optimize microservices architectures using Spring Boot (Java) and Python.
Integrate with broker APIs and market data providers to enable automated trading and portfolio management.
Work extensively with US equity market data, including fundamental, technical, and sentiment datasets.
Collaborate with AI/ML engineers, data scientists and quant strategy developers to deploy AI investment agents into production.
Ensure system scalability, reliability, and availability across the platform.
Participate in architectural design, code review, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications

5+ years of backend software development experience.
Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot (5+ years).
3+ years of professional Python experience (preferably for data pipelines, analytics, or integrations).
Proven experience with trading platforms.
Understanding of US equity market data (fundamental, technical, sentiment).
Experience integrating online broker trading APIs (e.g., Interactive Brokers, etc.).
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and learning agility.
Passion for building high-impact systems in a high-growth FinTech startup environment.
Preferred Skills

Experience with Docker/Kubernetes environment.
Exposure to AI/ML model deployment in production environments.
Strong interest in financial markets, quantitative investing, and algorithmic trading.
Knowledge of AI based code generation tools.
