While experience with Stibo STEP is a plus, we’re focused on finding someone strong in data engineering, data modeling, and transformation across any MDM platform. This role is central to managing and transforming complex product data from multiple vendors to ensure it’s usable, accurate, and ready for systems like Salesforce and eCommerce platforms. This is a REMOTE work schedule!!! Work within and around the existing Stibo STEP MDM environment – you don’t need to be a Stibo expert, but must be comfortable working with MDM platforms and concepts. Write and optimize SQL Server stored procedures to transform, validate, and load data. Build scalable ETL processes and data pipelines (e.g., with Azure Data Factory or equivalent tools). Clean & reformat incoming data (often in XML or other industry-standard formats) for internal system compatibility. Transform outbound MDM data into formats required by downstream systems (Salesforce, eCommerce platforms). Spend 30–40% of your time working directly with business users to understand pain points and data challenges. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the Salesforce, ERP (iSeries), and SQL teams, to deliver clean, structured, and usable product data. Develop and maintain logical data models that support complex product relationships across multiple suppliers and vehicle fitments. WHAT YOU’LL BRING: 7+ years of experience in data engineering, data integration, or MDM-related roles. Strong proficiency in SQL Server and ETL development. Experience with at least one enterprise-level MDM platform (Stibo, Informatica, Oracle, etc.). Ability to work with complex data models (multi-application, multi-part compatibility – automotive is a huge plus). Experience working with Salesforce data structures and preparing data for ingestion (you don’t need to be a Salesforce expert). Comfort working with XML and standard supplier file formats. NICE-TO-HAVE: Experience in automotive retail or aftermarket auto parts (i.e. NAPA, O'Reilly, AutoZone, etc.). Familiarity with Auto Care standards or similar industry data standards.
