About the job
Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance Java applications.
Lead the architecture and implementation of backend services using Java and related technologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, QA, Product) to define, design, and ship new features.
Mentor and guide junior developers in coding standards, best practices, and software design principles.
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in design and development.
Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve existing codebases for performance and scalability.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous delivery and integration processes.
Write and maintain technical documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
8+ years of hands-on experience in Java development (Java 8 or newer).
Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, etc.).
Proficiency in building RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript, Angular, React) is a plus.
Strong experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORM tools like Hibernate.
Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Maven).
Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
