Job Description: development/business architecture processes, and execute the enterprise software development, implementation and customization projects. Work closely with client’s business experts to understand and analyze functional requirements and to design and develop functional design documents. Design and develop high level architecture and low-level technical design documents translating the functional design into technical specifications. Design and develop processes for environments, software configurations, data migration between environments processes, and development and testing strategies. Design, develop and implement Liferay Portal applications adhering to the technical design specifications using the following technologies Liferay DXP, Spring, Hibernate, JSP, React JS, OSGI and Java/J2EE/Web services, HTML and CSS, Jquery, Oracle, PostgreSQL Databases. Design and develop extensions for existing applications using Liferay DXP portal technologies. Design and develop various OSGI modules using Liferay MVC modules and creating service layers using Service builders, implementation in customization of Liferay CMS, and Integrate workflows. Performs peer reviews to ensure adherence to standards and accuracy of the implementation of requirements. Interacts with project management, other project teams, and peers in a team environment for purposes of application integration and project coordination. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of systems software and future trends and directions in the software industry. Install prerequisite software products on different environments and define code management, software configuration, code deployment processes and automated testing strategies. Test, resolve and document the issues in the development and testing environments and ensure the software is working while producing a high-quality final product. Deploy the application out of the test phase to be released into UAT and Production environments. Work with the Business experts to validate actual test results, to expected results and to ensure the requirements are met. This position is for a roving employee who will be working in unanticipated locations throughout the United States. The employee will have to relocate, but travel is not required from any particular location.                   

 

REQUIREMENTS:        Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field of study, together with Five (5) years of progressive experience in any related occupation in which the required experience was gained.

 

Previous work experience or academic coursework must have included experience with: Liferay DXP, Spring, Hibernate, Java/J2EE/Web services, JSP, React JS, and Oracle and PostgreSQL Databases.
