We are seeking a skilled and motivated Java Developer to join our remote development team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications that are high-volume, low-latency, and mission-critical. The ideal candidate has a strong background in core Java development and is comfortable working in an Agile environment with a focus on microservices, RESTful APIs, and cloud-native applications.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and deploy scalable and maintainable Java applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party systems and services.
Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code using best practices.
Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration.
Troubleshoot and debug applications in development and production environments.
Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and reliability.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Java trends, frameworks, and tools.
Required Qualifications:

3+ years of professional experience in Java development.
Strong knowledge of Java 8 or higher and the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Data, etc.).
Experience with RESTful APIs, Microservices architecture, and modern web services.
Familiarity with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORM frameworks (Hibernate, JPA).
Experience with version control systems such as Git.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Familiarity with front-end technologies like JavaScript, React, or Angular is a plus.
Exposure to message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
