Wazza is building the operating system for AI entertainment. We're a remote-first AI infrastructure and filmmaking company with a multi-product ecosystem spanning AI model orchestration, filmmaking tools, and content production.

Our core products:

Wazza Engine — AI orchestration middleware routing 140+ models across 14+ providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Stability, Runway, fal.ai, and more). NestJS backend, PostgreSQL/Prisma, Redis/BullMQ, Cloudflare R2.
Tadaah — AI filmmaking SaaS platform. Script-to-screen workflows, character consistency via LoRA training, visual storyboarding, and AI-assisted scene generation. Next.js frontend, NestJS backend, launching end of Q1 2026 with 250+ waitlist users.
Wazza Console — Lightweight client for the Wazza engine.
Wazza Command Center — Admin dashboard aggregating real-time data from Stripe, Railway, Vercel, Neon, and Notion via WebSocket for operational visibility.
We're pre-money with confirmed enterprise deals in the pipeline and actively preparing a seed round. You'd be joining at a stage where your architectural decisions and code will define the platform for years.

The Role
You'll own fullstack delivery across Wazza Engine and Tadaah, working directly with the CEO/Co-Founder. This isn't a feature factory — you'll shape product direction, set engineering standards, and build the systems that generate revenue.

What You'll Do
Design and ship fullstack features across Next.js (frontend) and NestJS (backend) for Wazza Engine and Tadaah
Own critical backend systems: job queue orchestration (BullMQ), credit/billing pipelines (Stripe), provider routing, and real-time WebSocket infrastructure
Build and refine Tadaah's filmmaking workflows: script parsing, storyboard generation, asset library management, LoRA training pipelines, and timeline editing
Drive MRR sustainability — instrument analytics, optimize onboarding flows, and ship features tied to conversion and retention
Establish engineering patterns, code quality standards, CI/CD pipelines, and architectural decisions as the team scales
Integrate and orchestrate AI models (FLUX, LTX, SAR3D, etc.) through the Engine's provider abstraction layer
Collaborate cross-functionally with creative, operations, and business teams on product priorities
Who You Are
5+ years of professional fullstack experience, with strong depth in both Next.js/React and NestJS/Node.js
You've built and shipped SaaS products end-to-end — not just features, but systems that handle billing, auth, queues, and real-time data
Comfortable with PostgreSQL (Prisma ORM), Redis, BullMQ, and event-driven architectures
You understand infrastructure: CI/CD, monitoring (Sentry, Axiom), serverless (Vercel, Railway, Neon), and cloud storage (Cloudflare R2)
You've worked in fast-moving, small teams (or solo) where you owned entire product surfaces
Familiarity with AI/ML pipelines is a plus — you don't need to train models, but you should be comfortable integrating APIs, managing async job flows, and debugging provider-specific quirks
Strong async communication skills — we're remote-first and ship-driven, not meeting-driven
Bonus Points
Experience with video/media processing pipelines, canvas-based editors (e.g. Fabric.js, tldraw), or creative tools
Familiarity with Go (Gin) or Rust microservices or interest in performance-critical compute workloads
Prior work in entertainment, animation, or content production tech
Open source contributions or side projects that show craft
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: Competitive, negotiable based on experience and profile. Paid monthly.
Performance Bonus: Up to 20% annually, tied to product velocity milestones, MRR targets, and individual impact. Reviewed quarterly.
Equity: Meaningful early-stage equity (negotiable). Standard 4-year vesting with 1-year cliff. Milestone-based refresh possible.
