Hiring Founding & Early Engineers (Full-Time | Remote + In-Person | Across Multiple Startups)



At Dynamism, we partner with breakout startups backed by Sequoia, a16z, and Y Combinator to help them hire engineers with founder energy — people who build fast, think like owners, and thrive in zero-to-one environments.


We’re actively hiring engineers for top startups including Windsurf, Replit and Vapi, and others led by repeat founders building high-growth, AI-native, and infra-heavy products. Engineers we’ve placed are already leading key initiatives on these teams.


While most of our roles are in-person (SF or NYC), we’ve seen a sharp increase in remote-friendly teams actively hiring top talent — and we’re making curated intros for both.


💻 Location: SF / NYC (in-person preferred), plus growing number of fully remote roles (US time zones)
💰 Comp Range: $180K–$270K base + 0.2%–2.0% equity (varies by company)
🌍 Stage: Seed to Series A
🛠️ Common Stack: TypeScript, React, Python (some teams use Go, Node, Postgres, CRDTs, Temporal)
🧠 Tooling: Most teams use LLMs like GPT, Claude, and Cursor to boost dev velocity




We’re Hiring For Roles Like:

• Founding Full Stack Engineer
• Founding AI/ML Engineer
• Founding Backend Engineer
• Infra / Platform Engineer
• Technical Generalist (0→1, cross-functional, product-aware)




What These Roles Have in Common

⚙️ You’ll own major systems — from backend infra to onboarding flows
🧱 You’ll help shape early architecture, engineering standards, and product roadmap
💬 You’ll work directly with the founders — often as hire #1 or #2
🔁 You’ll ship quickly, talk to users, and iterate based on real feedback
🌍 You’ll be solving high-value, technically challenging problems in small, fast teams




You Might Be a Fit If You…

• Have 3–10+ years of experience in backend, full-stack, or infra engineering
• Are fluent in TypeScript, React, or Python — or can ramp quickly
• Move fast in ambiguity and default to ownership over direction
• Use LLM tooling like GPT or Claude to work faster and smarter
• Have startup, founder, or Staff+ experience — or operate like you do
• Care deeply about product and want your work to touch real users




Bonus If You’ve…

✅ Built or scaled 0→1 systems or features
✅ Owned product-adjacent areas like billing, auth, analytics, data infra, or multiplayer
✅ Worked in infra, AI/ML, devtools, eComm, or SaaS
✅ Led a team or shipped independently at a high bar
✅ Built side projects that users actually adopted
