Job Description: Minimum Qualifications:
BS/BTech (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
6+ years experience as an engineer building full-stack web applications as part of a cross-functional team.
3+ years of experience working with SQL or other database querying language on large multi-table data sets.
3+ years of experience acting as a trusted technical decision-maker in a team setting, solving for short-term and long-term business value.
3+ years of experience coaching other engineers.
Preferred KSA’s:
Expert-level proficiency with at least one cloud environment, AWS a bonus!
Expert-level proficiency with an infrastructure as code language, tooling, and design paradigms
Familiarity with observability, including instrumentation of software and infrastructure
Experience with maintaining a support model: including both proactive and reactive (dashboards and alerting)
Experience designing reusable platform abstractions (e.g., golden paths, platform APIs, scaffolding tools)
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Experience building continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, specifically in GitHub
Experience with security and systems that handle sensitive data (ideal: experience with HIPAA and PHI handling)
Experience with automated testing, including unit and integration tests
Prior work in our tech stack a plus / nice to have: Python, Pulumi, Github Actions, AWS, Kafka and Databricks
Passion for developer experience, and a mindset towards delivering excellent tools, processes, and workflows to support our group and others
Networking expertise, with a focus on cloud networking
Other nice-to-have’s:
A.I. tooling and LLM experience
Advanced testing experience (e.g. Mutation, Chaos, and Load/Soak/Stress)
