The ideal candidate will have a minimum of seven years of robust Java experience, coupled with a strong understanding of modern web technologies and testing practices. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain full-stack web applications using Java, Spring Suite (Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Security), Angular, and JavaScript. Write well-documented code using Javadoc and produce clean, compliant HTML5 and CSS. Ensure all public-facing web content adheres to Section 508 compliance standards and is built using the U.S. Web Design System (USWDS). Conduct thorough unit testing with JUnit and implement automated regression testing via Katalon. Analyze code quality using FindBugs and PMD, and identify/remediate vulnerabilities with the OWASP Dependency Check tool. Collaborate effectively within an Agile sprint framework (daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives). Manage source control and issue tracking using GitLab and utilize SharePoint for document repositories. Develop and consume RESTful APIs with JSON, including adherence to CPE JSON schema, CVE v5.x data feeds, and APIs with two-factor authentication and permission-based access controls. Work with stored procedures for data retrieval and understand bulk submission API design. Required Skills and Experience Experience: Minimum 7+ years of full-stack web development experience with Java. Front-End Technologies: Proficiency in Angular, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS. Back-End Technologies: Strong experience with the Spring Suite (Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Security). Standards & Compliance: Knowledge of Section 508 compliance and the U.S. Web Design System (USWDS). Testing & Quality Tools: Experience with JUnit, Katalon, FindBugs, PMD, and OWASP Dependency Check.
