About the Role

We need a senior full-stack engineer based in Texas to own our entire technical stack. This is a high-ownership role: you’ll work directly with our product manager to shape what we build, set our engineering standards, and occasionally join customer calls to speak to our technical approach. You’ll use AI tools like Claude and Codex as a core part of your daily workflow. 



What You’ll Do

Own full-stack, AI-first development across a Node.js backend and React/Next.js frontend
Review, test, and refine AI-generated code to ensure reliability and maintainability
Our platform processes large volumes of product documentation, images, and technical files, requiring scalable indexing, search, and AI-powered retrieval.
Design and scale the data and search infrastructure that powers our platform
Build asynchronous processing pipelines for large volumes of files, documents, and metadata
Develop AI-powered features including document understanding, search, and knowledge retrieval
Use AI coding tools daily to accelerate development, debugging, and refactoring
Establish engineering standards across architecture, testing, and code quality
Work closely with product leadership to translate product vision into scalable technical systems


What You Have

Experience building and maintaining production full-stack applications
Strong proficiency with Node.js and React/Next.js
Experience designing data models and scalable backend systems
Familiarity with search systems, document processing, or data indexing
Experience integrating LLMs, vector search, or other AI services is a strong plus
Comfortable working in a high-ownership startup environment
Able to communicate technical decisions clearly, including occasionally with customers

Creating AI-powered workflows
Scaling infrastructure to support large volumes of files and datasets

Base salary plus performance bonus and equity.
