Position Summary:

Our partner is a global cybersecurity organization building platforms that protect endpoints and enterprise systems by detecting, analyzing, and responding to advanced threats at scale. They are adding a Senior Full Stack Engineer to support a cloud-based platform operating in the EDR/XDR space. The engineer in this seat will own meaningful parts of a production cybersecurity platform, from design through release and long-term support. The role involves high-volume event processing, cloud-native services, complex integrations with endpoint and on-prem systems, and product experiences built for security and operations teams. This opportunity centers on building and operating security-grade software that runs at scale, processes massive volumes of telemetry, and protects real customers from real threats.
 
Experience and Education:

BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience/field
Experience building and shipping production B2B SaaS or platform software
Background in cloud-native systems used by real customers at scale
Experience working in security, infrastructure, or distributed systems environments
Hands-on ownership of features from design through release and support
Experience supporting live systems, including incident response and root cause analysis
Exposure to endpoint, EDR, XDR, or telemetry-heavy platforms

Primary Job Responsibilities:

Design and build cloud-based security features across backend and frontend systems
Develop and operate scalable microservices in a distributed environment
Build and evolve backend services that process and analyze high volumes of endpoint telemetry
Consume machine learning outputs to power detection and response workflows
Integrate cloud services with endpoint and on-prem security platforms
Build and maintain data-heavy product interfaces for alerts, dashboards, and configuration
Optimize system performance, memory usage, and reliability
Participate in architectural discussions and technical design reviews
Own features through design, implementation, release, and long-term support
Perform root cause analysis on production issues and drive fixes to completion
Contribute to operational readiness, monitoring, and service health
Collaborate with product, security, and platform teams on roadmap execution
Improve system scalability to support high-volume event processing
