The Role: Senior Full Stack Engineer We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our founding product team. You’ll take the lead on major engineering initiatives, influence core architectural decisions, and help scale our platform to support the next generation of alcohol compliance tools. This is a high-impact role with direct access to the leadership team. What You’ll Do Lead the architectural design, development, and scaling of new features across both frontend and backend systems Make foundational decisions on architecture, system design, and infrastructure Build secure, maintainable APIs and intuitive UI components Collaborate closely with product, design, and AI teams to deliver end-to-end features Mentor junior engineers as the team grows Work across a stack that includes React, Node.js and PHP for backend services and integrations What We’re Looking For 5+ years of experience in full stack or backend-heavy roles, ideally in early-stage startups or high-growth environments Strong experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Next.js, Node.js) Deep understanding of backend architecture and cloud infrastructure (Firebase, Vercel, AWS, etc.) Comfort working with and integrating legacy PHP codebases (Laravel or similar experience is a plus) Experience designing APIs and scalable data models Ability to lead technical projects independently from spec to launch Strong product sense and a bias for shipping fast and iterating Excellent communication and collaboration skills — you enjoy working cross-functionally and moving quickly What We Offer Competitive salary and equity package Performance-based bonuses Medical, dental, and vision coverage Flexible PTO and remote-friendly work culture Annual offsites and team retreats Ownership over major technical decisions and the ability to shape the future of the platform Compensation & Location-Based Pay Transparency We offer tiered compensation based on geographic location to ensure fairness and cost-of-living alignment: Tier 1 (Major Metro – e.g., SF, NYC, LA): $120,000 – $130,000 Tier 2 (Mid-Market – e.g., Austin, Denver, Chicago): $110,000 – $120,000 Tier 3 (International w/ Lower Cost of Living): $100,000 – $110,000 All tiers include equity and performance-based bonuses as part of our total compensation package.
