This role primarily involves working with a dashboard powered by golang, templ, and HTMX. You'll also build checkout experiences for our merchants via Javascript libraries, and embedable components. You'll work closely with the technical founder to design systems that process sensitive financial data with integrity, resilience, and performance in mind. This is a critical role: you will be a pivotal member of the development team, integral to building a solid foundation for years to come. This is an opportunity to see architecture decisions play out over time, apply your prior learnings to make sure we get it right, and make a difference. What you'll do Implement responsive design and ship UI that works across devices and viewports. Build interactive analytics reports and dashboards to surface product and usage insights. Optimize the user experience through performance, accessibility, and clear information architecture. Design and build embeddable checkout components for merchants integrating with Vixel. Apply secure coding practices to guard against common vulnerabilities (SQL injection, XSS, CSRF, SSRF, etc.) What we're looking for Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design Strong experience with Typescript Ideally strong experience with HTMX, otherwise experience with React + Server Side Rendering Experience with go (golang) and templ is a strong plus Strong debugging skills Unit testing experience Strong communication skills, able to work remote with autonomy and responsibility At least 2 years of professional development experience or a strong GitHub repository Excellent English communication skills Start-up / early stage company experience Background checks are required, as we are PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant Nice to have Experience writing components with minimal dependencies for external consumption Experience with Figma, Photoshop, and/or Illustrator Storybook familiarity, or related Appreciation for good UX FinTech experience Ethos Simplicity does not just happen, it takes more time, effort, and experience.
