Try Premium for PKR0 About the job At FarBridge, we partner on co-developed premium console titles and craft our own original IP across platforms. We believe great games are built by teams that feel trusted and supported- with a technical culture grounded in innovation, collaboration, and respect. If you’re a Senior Engineer who enjoys working as a generalist in a small, experienced game team, comfortable owning features and helping other engineers grow, we’d like to talk! Responsibilities Most of the work is in Unity, shipping on PC and console. We’re looking for someone who can take a feature, pair up with a designer, and run with it- from first pass through polish- without needing a lot of direction or process around them. This isn’t a narrow role. You’ll touch gameplay systems, performance concerns, and some tooling as needed. You’ll be expected to think about quality, scope, and long-term maintainability as part of everyday development, not as a separate phase. Mentorship matters here. We want someone who genuinely enjoys helping junior engineers get better through code reviews, pairing, and sharing context- and who leads by example without ego. We work closely across disciplines, talk through tradeoffs early, and raise our hands when something is blocked or risky. We care about shipping good games and doing it in a way that’s sustainable. Requirements 6+ years of professional game development experience Strong, hands-on experience shipping games in Unity Shipped titles on PC and at least one console platform Experience owning gameplay features independently with minimal oversight Comfort collaborating directly with designers on gameplay systems Demonstrated experience mentoring or supporting less-senior engineers Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills Nice-to-Have Experience We don’t expect you to come to us knowing how to do everything, additionally, we believe in mentoring and growing our team members while they work on projects. Any of the following experience is not required, but is a plus: Experience with Unreal Engine Multiplayer, systems-heavy, or performance-critical feature work Tools development or pipeline improvements
