We are seeking a skilled Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data infrastructure in a fully remote environment. In this role, you will work closely with product teams to translate requirements into robust, cloud-native solutions, leveraging Snowflake, AWS services, and modern data pipelines. You will ensure high-quality, reliable data processing and feature engineering while optimizing workflows and troubleshooting complex issues. Accountabilities Collaborate with product teams to gather requirements and propose effective solutions. Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and feature engineering pipelines. Analyze and resolve software and data infrastructure issues efficiently. Implement robust solutions using Python, SQL, and relevant programming languages. Ensure thorough testing and validation of data workflows and applications. Contribute creative, out-of-the-box solutions to complex challenges. Prioritize and execute tasks independently or as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment. Uphold best practices in cloud architecture, CI/CD processes, and data security. Requirements Strong verbal and written communication skills. Hands-on experience designing and developing enterprise applications. Proficiency with cloud-native data platforms, especially Snowflake and AWS services (Lambda, Glue, Kinesis, Firehose, Athena, S3, CloudWatch, DynamoDB, API Gateway). Expertise in databases (Snowflake, DB2, Redshift) and dimensional modeling. Proficient in Python, SQL, and scripting (Unix shell scripts). Experience with feature stores such as Tecton or SageMaker. Familiarity with NoSQL databases and building feature engineering pipelines. Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub, GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, and CloudFormation. Knowledge of user authentication and authorization across systems. Ability to take ownership of projects and deliver on timelines proactively.
