You will be involved across the full lifecycle including architecture, development, deployment, monitoring, and operational support. The work focuses on building scalable AI capabilities that are integrated directly into enterprise software platforms. Engineers on this team are expected to take ownership of systems after launch and help ensure they operate reliably in production environments. What You'll Do Design and build production-scale AI systems integrated into enterprise software platforms Develop AI agents and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures Build and extend knowledge graph systems including graph databases and metadata models Architect scalable services supporting real-time AI inference and large-scale data processing Deploy, monitor, and support AI services running in production environments Participate in on-call rotations supporting mission critical systems Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and product teams What You'll Have 8+ years of professional software engineering experience Strong programming experience in Python (Java also acceptable) Production experience in at least one of the following: Generative AI systems including RAG, agents, or LLM integrations Knowledge graph systems and graph databases Experience deploying AI-powered systems into production Experience supporting live production services after launch Experience responding to and resolving high-severity incidents Cloud and DevOps experience CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform Cloud environments such as AWS Containerized deployments and distributed systems architectures What this Role is Not This role is not focused on AI research or prototypes. The team is building AI systems that are already deployed into production and actively used by enterprise customers. Location: Remote, U.S. Compensation: $155,000 to $245,000 base plus strong benefits Work Authorization: Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
