Senior AI Engineer | Enterprise Microlearning

I am currently seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join a high-growth, YC-backed platform that is transforming enterprise Learning and Development through microlearning.
This is a senior, product-focused role where you will have direct influence over the design and scaling of production-grade AI systems and agentic workflows. You will work closely with founders and product leaders to build the future of AI-driven education.
The Role

Design & Implement: You will create agentic workflows powered by LLMs for real-world task execution.
Architect: You will be responsible for AI pipelines, including RAG, prompt engineering, vector search, and evaluation loops.
Innovate: You will develop voice-based and message-based AI learning agents and manage multi-agent orchestration.
Collaborate: You will translate user feedback into scalable solutions and communicate technical strategy to stakeholders.
What You Will Need

Experience: At least 5 years of Machine Learning experience (PyTorch or TensorFlow) and 2+ years of hands-on experience with LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or Hugging Face).
Proven Track Record: Experience building and deploying production-ready AI systems.
Technical Depth: A strong understanding of RAG, vector search, and AI safety best practices.
Communication: The ability to work directly with clients and explain complex technical decisions clearly.
Technical Environment: Knowledge of Ruby on Rails is beneficial, as is experience with LangChain or LlamaIndex.
