Role Description

We are hiring a Senior AI Engineer (Contract, Remote) to design and deploy production-ready AI systems.



This role focuses on:



Large Language Models (LLMs)
Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
Embeddings & vector databases
Model evaluation and monitoring
Scalable backend AI architecture


You will work closely with backend and DevOps teams to build reliable AI services that operate efficiently in real-world environments.



We are looking for someone who understands how AI systems behave in production.



Qualifications

3+ years of software engineering experience
Hands-on experience deploying AI/LLM systems to production
Strong Python and backend development skills
Experience with embeddings, retrieval systems, and vector databases
Understanding of model evaluation, metrics, and performance optimization
Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
Strong system design mindset
Nice to have:

Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or similar frameworks
Docker / Kubernetes experience
Experience optimizing inference pipelines
Experience with PostgreSQL or distributed systems
