The ideal candidate will design, optimize, and maintain complex queries across large datasets, ensuring reliability, scalability, and high performance for business-critical workloads. Key Responsibilities: Design, write, and optimize complex SQL queries for analytics and operational use cases Manage and maintain relational databases, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and availability Analyze query execution plans and improve performance through indexing, partitioning, and schema design Support data pipelines by validating, transforming, and troubleshooting data flows Collaborate with engineering and product teams to translate requirements into efficient data solutions Develop and maintain robust database objects such as stored procedures, views, and functions to support analytical and operational workloads Monitor and fine-tune the performance of complex queries to ensure maximum efficiency and scalability Implement data governance and ensure data integrity in line with company policies Required Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL (advanced joins, CTEs, window functions, subqueries) Solid experience with database management and performance tuning Experience working with large datasets and high-volume query workloads Knowledge of cloud-based databases (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL, BigQuery, Redshift) is a plus Familiarity with data pipeline technologies (ETL/ELT, Apache Airflow, AWS Glue) Data warehousing experience (Snowflake, Redshift, etc.) is a plus Proven ability to optimize complex SQL queries for performance and scalability Ability to work with data integrations, ensuring seamless ETL processes and data flow across systems Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
