About the Role

We’re seeking a skilled React Native App Developer to help build and maintain Campaign Nucleus’s mobile applications for iOS and Android. This is a full-time, remote role where you’ll work closely with our product, design, and backend teams to deliver intuitive, high-performing mobile experiences for real-world users.

You’ll play a meaningful role in shaping our mobile roadmap, improving existing features, and launching new functionality that directly supports campaigns and organizations in the field.



Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to implement new features
Build clean, reusable, and scalable components
Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services
Optimize application performance, stability, and usability
Debug issues and provide ongoing maintenance and improvements
Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
Help ensure mobile apps meet quality, security, and accessibility standards


Required Qualifications

2+ years of professional experience building mobile apps with React Native
Strong proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript
Experience with state management solutions (Redux, Context API, etc.)
Familiarity with REST APIs and mobile app architecture
Experience deploying apps to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store
Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX best practices
Comfortable working remotely and collaborating with a distributed team
Experience using Git in a team-based development environment


Preferred Qualifications

Experience with native mobile development (Swift, Kotlin, Objective-C, or Java)
Familiarity with Expo
Experience working on SaaS platforms or data-driven applications
Experience in Agile or Scrum environments
Interest in civic tech, campaigns, or mission-driven organizations
