Learn more about Cutsforth here: Cutsforth.com/About Read our Mission & Values here: Cutsforth.com/Values Compensation $79,250 – $97,900 annually Role Overview The QA Engineer, analyzes, and runs tests on new or modified software to ensure it meets user requirements, adheres to guidelines, maintains quality standards, and is free of defects. They will perform manual tests, develop and manage automated tests, detect and report problems, and document test results. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough testing of software for bugs, defects, and other issues using both manual and automated methods. Develop and implement detailed test plans and procedures to ensure comprehensive test coverage. Identify, document, and report defects and monitor their resolution to ensure they are addressed properly. Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and address issues collaboratively. Provide feedback on software usability and functionality. Write and maintain automated tests using tools like Playwright or others. Create and maintain thorough test documentation, design specifications, and test reports to support ongoing development and testing efforts. Required Qualifications 2-5 years in QA or software development Proficiency in software testing methodologies, tools, and processes. Experience with test automation tools and frameworks. Familiarity with bug tracking and version control systems. Extraordinary attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or related field. Experience with Playwright test automation software. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Other Qualifications Successfully pass background check for cybersecurity access requirements. Cybersecurity Role Expectations Candidate will be responsible for reviewing policies and procedures related to cybersecurity and those relevant to the functions of their role. Candidate is expected to maintain a cybersecure work environment. Physical Requirements Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds. Must be able to use hands to type, handle products, parts, objects, and tools and navigate computer keyboard and machine controls. Must be able to view computer screen for extended periods of time.
