Responsibilities:

Lead the design, development, and deployment of our products
Build new products and features and optimize existing ones
Manage, mentor and guide other developers
Collaborate with team members across various functions
Oversee code quality, perform code reviews, and ensure adherence to best practices
Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies to ensure our technology stack remains modern and competitive
Requirements:

5+ years of experience in software development with strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails
Experience with front-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and frameworks like Jquery and Twitter Bootstrap.
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and experience with third-party integrations
Familiarity with database systems (particularly PostgreSQL) and experience in optimizing queries for performance
Proven experience with Agile development methodologies and familiarity with project management tools
Experience working with larger, long running development projects
Experience in managing or mentoring other developers
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment
Strong communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical team members
Preferred:

BS or MS in computer science or related field
Experience working in startup environments
