Title: Lead Software Engineer
Reports to: Director, Software Engineering
Location: Remote, US

We're seeking passionate, hands-on technologists who are passionate about coding, solving complex & unique problems, and building a cutting-edge eCommerce technology environment. 



Our client is a rapidly-growing fashion brand, processing more than 5,000 orders per day. They are going through a digital transformation & modernization, built around Shopify, Netsuite and a Microservices GCP back-end architecture. 



This role is focused on building a Microservices back-end architecture within GCP (Google Cloud Platform) using NodeJS. You will also be working in Shopify development (Liquid) and potentially lead a migration to a Headless architecture (React) by end of 2026! 



Experience needed includes:


At least 6-8 years of Software Engineering experience in a web / eCommerce environment
At least 3 years of eCommerce industry experience with strong knowledge of OMS, WMS, ERP (Netsuite), CMS, PIM, 3PL and other core eCommerce concepts. 
At least 3+ years of experience in a Microservices / Composable eCommerce Architecture
Experience with Shopify is ideal, but will consider candidates with experience in Adobe Commerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, SAP Hybris, CommerceTools or other related platform. 
Hands-on experience building and connecting Microservices in a GCP (Google Cloud Platform) or AWS environment. Experience with Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Firebase. 
Expertise in connecting and integrating platforms, apps, API's, etc. 
Tech Stack: NodeJS, Javascript, Liquid (Shopify), React, Docker, CI/CD
Experience with Headless eCommerce architectures is a plus!
