The platform is cloud-native, used by physicians in high-acuity environments, and integrates agentic AI directly into clinician-facing front-end workflows. They are hiring a Lead Software Engineer (Front-End) to join a small, elite innovation group focused on cutting-edge radiology UIs, intelligent agents, and multimodal AI experiences embedded directly into clinical decision-making. This is a hands-on, architecture-level role designing front-end systems that clinicians rely on in real time. ๐Ÿ”ธ What You Will Work On Architect modern, scalable front-end systems using React and TypeScript Design and build radiology-focused clinician UIs, including AI-assisted workflows Integrate agentic AI, LLMs, and multimodal model outputs into the front end Build SDKs, extensible design systems, and reusable component libraries Create new UI patterns that make AI reasoning explainable, actionable, and trusted Collaborate closely with product, backend, and AI research teams Define interface contracts with Python, FastAPI, and GraphQL APIs Mentor engineers and influence front-end technical direction ๐Ÿ”ธ What Our Client Is Looking For (Prerequisites) 8โ€“12+ years of front-end engineering experience Deep expertise with React, TypeScript, and modern front-end architecture Required: experience building clinician-facing front-end applications Required: experience with radiology, medical imaging, DICOM/PACS, or similar clinical visualization systems Experience integrating AI or ML outputs into production UIs, ideally LLMs or agentic workflows Strong UX instincts for complex, high-stakes user environments Comfortable moving between rapid prototyping and production-grade systems ๐Ÿ”ธ Bonus Skills Hands-on experience with DICOM, PACS, HL7, or FHIR Exposure to cloud-native architectures Real-time or high-performance visualization experience Familiarity with ML model lifecycle or inference pipelines ๐Ÿ”ธ Location & Collaboration Remote-first within the US Occasional travel to the Bay Area for onsite collaboration (a few days per quarter) ๐Ÿ”ธ Compensation Base salary up to $240Kโ€“$250K Competitive equity package Full benefits ๐Ÿ”ธ Why This Role Matters Youโ€™ll define how agentic AI shows up inside radiology and clinical workflows.
