At Astoria AI we believe that people have indispensable human need to realize their full potential. Our mission is to help people to unlock their potential and help organizations to attract those people and build sustained practices of retaining motivated and most qualified talent. Role Overview We’re looking for a full-stack AI developer who knows how to turn ideas into real product — fast, safely, and thoughtfully. In this role, you’ll design and build applications powered by LLMs and agentic workflows (automation, reasoning, and tool-use). You’ll partner closely with product and design to ship features that feel intuitive, trustworthy, and genuinely helpful. This is a chance to shape an MVP, influence architecture decisions, and help define how AI gets built — the right way. Compensation: equity until MVP launch, competitive salary after — with meaningful ownership and long-term upside. What You’ll Do Design and build features using modern LLM workflows (RAG, agents, tools, structured prompting, evals). Prototype quickly using AI coding tools - while ensuring code is still maintainable and reviewed. Implement guardrails, observability, and feedback loops to make AI outputs reliable and safe. Work with product to translate user problems into testable experiments and shippable features. Integrate AI services (closed-source + open-source models) depending on cost, latency, privacy, and risk. Contribute to our developer experience: CI/CD, testing, monitoring, and automation. Stay current with emerging AI platforms, benchmarks, and best practices — and help us adopt them thoughtfully.
