We just won first place at Datamellon AI Ignite and are gearing up for the global finals in San Francisco late July. You’ll be joining early, shaping the core product, and helping build something truly transformative.

This role begins as a 6 month contract and can be renegotiated as a longterm Founding engineer position based on team-fit.

What You’ll Do
• Own and ship end-to-end features across the stack
• Build and scale our adaptive oral assessment engine and AI tutor/TA experience
• Integrate with LLMs, voice recognition APIs, and speech-to-text tools
• Help shape the technical roadmap and core infrastructure
• Move fast, solve meaningful problems, and influence product direction directly with the founders
• Lay the foundation for engineering culture, quality, and innovation

What We’re Looking For
• 3+ years of full-stack experience in fast-paced environments
• Proficiency with Node.js, React, TypeScript, and Firebase
• Experience with LLMs, audio processing, or voice UX is a huge plus
• Comfort working independently in a high-ownership, zero-to-one setting
• Strong product sense and empathy for real users, especially students and educators
• Bonus if you’ve worked in EdTech, accessibility, or multilingual systems
