We are seeking a creative and technically proficient Full-Stack Developer on a contract basis to build a series of high-fidelity, web-based STEM simulations and an interactive learning dashboard. The goal is to move beyond static text and videos, allowing students to "dissect" STEM using the laws of physics, math, and biology. Project Scope You will be responsible for developing a STEM interface where users can explore math and science topics with interactive simulations. Key Deliverables: Interactive Simulation Suite: Develop multiple distinct STEM simulations. Physics Engine Integration: Implement real-world constants such as gravity, drag coefficients, and buoyancy equations to name a few into the game logic. Audio Synthesis: Use the Web Audio API to generate synthesized sound effects (crowd cheers, buzzers, lift hums) without external file dependencies. Dynamic UI/UX: Build a responsive dashboard using Tailwind CSS that handles real-time parameter updates via sliders. Technical Requirements Frontend: Expert proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5 Canvas, and Tailwind CSS. Math & Sciences: Strong understanding of K-12 STEM concepts. Interactivity: Experience building "reset-friendly" states where simulations can be tuned and re-run without page refreshes. Key Performance Features Visual Polish: Simulations must be "cool and entertaining". Educational Accuracy: Each simulation must include a "STEM Breakdown" section that explains the underlying science using technical terminology and proper variables.
