About the job
We are building Novella Studio, a next-generation web platform for content creators. Tools include storyboarding, editing, generative AI, cloud media, and collaboration. 



We’re looking for a Senior Full-Stack TypeScript Engineer who loves building ambitious products to start working with us as soon as possible. Someone with a strong GitHub presence, a history of shipping creative projects, and a real curiosity about what the browser can do. Not just React, but Canvas, WebCodecs, WebGPU and WebAssembly. If you enjoy pushing the limits of browser capabilities, this job is for you.


What you will work on:

• Database/Auth Engineering
• Subscription Billing and Usage Based Billing Integrations
• AI Model Integrations
• RBAC System
• Cloud based media and asset workflows


What we are looking for:

• 10+ years building real products that have shipped
• Deep experience with TypeScript on both the front and back end
• A visible history of making things, whether on GitHub, GitLab or personal projects
• Curiosity about new browser technologies and a desire to push their limits
• Bonus: experience with video, media pipelines, codecs or rendering systems
• Bonus: experience with creative-tooling apps or game-engine development


Our stack:

TypeScript, React, Canvas, WebCodecs, WebGL, WebGPU and Go on the backend.


Rate/Start Date:

$70/hr - Urgent Hire
