We are expanding and looking for a Full-Stack Svelte/Javascript+python Engineer to join our team. You will be helping us design, upgrade, and implement front end code, manage our cloud resources, and build API integrations. At Matic we are a growing startup, servicing doctors with Artificial Intelligence.


Given that we are still a startup, you will likely have multiple hats — be ready to be given tickets to work on pretty much anything. And you will help us with some new customers.


We are growing fast, and there will be some equity grants involved alongside the salary. Join us to make a real meaningful difference in the healthcare world, and work with some awesome and smart people.


We currently have employees in WA, TX, CA, and UT; headquarters are in Dallas, Texas.


Responsibilities
Svelte full stack application building
Attention to detail, and extensive troubleshooting of your own tasks.
Google cloud endpoint management.
Writing python endpoints and APIs used by our system
Working with various LLMs and hosting platforms
Testing AI systems for quality
Building agentic frameworks
Building integrations between our platform and EHR (electronic Health records)
Full time, 9-5, 5 days per week work
Interacting with physicians who didn't like the way the AI wrote their notes, and fixing them


Qualifications
Python expertise
Svelte experience
Fluent English speaker
Google cloud history
Firebase history
Expertise in working with modern LLMs, APIs, and endpoints
Attention to detail and comprehensive testing ... We cannot afford AI deployments that are broken.
