We are seeking a Full-Stack Engineer who can build high-quality user interfaces while contributing to backend services that support data-rich, secure, enterprise-grade applications. POSITION OVERVIEW The Full-Stack Engineer will be responsible for building user-facing features and the backend services that power them. You’ll work across the stack—implementing frontend UI components, backend APIs, authentication flows, dashboards, and internal tools used by both farmers and enterprise partners. This is a fast-paced, high-ownership role ideal for someone who thrives in a startup environment and wants to help bring two major products to market. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESFrontend Development Develop clean, intuitive UI components using a modern framework (React, Nextjs, Shadcn, etc.) Translate Figma designs into high-quality, responsive interfaces Build dashboards, data visualizations, forms, and workflows for both farmers and enterprise users Improve performance, accessibility, and consistency of the UI Backend Development Build and maintain backend endpoints and services (Node.js, Python) Integrate with Spade’s data lakehouse and unified data models Implement secure authentication and authorization flows Pair with the data engineering team to expose reliable datasets through APIs Build scalable services that support both web and mobile experiences Cross-Team Collaboration Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers Support onboarding workflows with Solutions Engineering Participate in architecture discussions and technical planning Rapidly prototype features and iterate based on real customer feedback Quality & Infrastructure Write automated tests across the stack Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment tooling Help maintain a shared design system and component library Ensure strong observability, error handling, and logging QUALIFICATIONS Required: 3–7 years of experience as a full-stack engineer Strong experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Tailwind preferred) Strong backend experience with Node.js, Python Hands-on experience designing and consuming REST APIs Experience working with Postgres and/or NoSQL databases Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, and security fundamentals Ability to own features end-to-end—design → implementation → production Excellent communication skills and ability to work remotely within North American timezones Experience operating in "zero-guidance" environments; you are comfortable without a roadmap A deep background in the AI stack—either as a seasoned veteran or a rising AI-native developer who prioritizes building with LLMs and agents.
