The Role

We're looking for a senior full-stack engineer to join as a founding team member. This isn't a "ticket executor" role — you'll own technical direction, shape architecture decisions, and ship features end-to-end. You'll work directly with the CEO (technical background) and collaborate closely with the product team.


Location: Remote (Americas timezones required)
Type: Contract-to-hire


What You'll Work On

Core product features — content generation, podcast creation, quiz/assessment flows, roleplay functionality
AI integrations — working with Gemini, Claude, OpenAI, and Cartesia (voice) APIs
Full-stack ownership — frontend UI, backend APIs, database schema, deployment
Foundational architecture — your decisions will shape how this system scales


Tech Stack

Frontend: React 18, Vite, TypeScript, TanStack Query, ShadcnUI, Tailwind
Backend: Node.js, Hono, tRPC, TypeScript
Data: PostgreSQL (Prisma + pgvector), Redis, BullMQ
AI: Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Perplexity, Cartesia
Infra: AWS, Turborepo monorepo, WorkOS (auth)


What We're Looking For

Must have:

5+ years building production web applications
Strong TypeScript and Node.js experience
Comfortable across the full stack (React + backend APIs + databases)
Experience with or strong interest in LLM APIs
Self-directed — you'll have real ownership, not hand-holding


Nice to have:

Startup experience
Experience with monorepos, tRPC, or Prisma
Built AI/LLM-powered products before
