Software Engineer (Mid-Level)

The Role

Seeking a mid-level Software Engineer to support and enhance a live, production platform. This is not a greenfield role—the focus is on platform stability, maintenance, incremental enhancements, QA testing, and overall reliability.


The ideal candidate is hands-on across the stack, with strong React frontend experience and proven serverless backend expertise using AWS Lambda and GraphQL. You’ll work closely with product and engineering teams to improve existing features, optimize performance, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the platform. (Approximately 80% backend work.)



What You’ll Do

Maintain and enhance the existing cloud-native platform
Support backend services built on AWS serverless architecture
Assist with QA testing, bug fixes, and production support
Work on identity, authentication, and security-related workflows
Support APIs and event-driven services
Collaborate closely with the Lead Architect and leadership team
Document changes, fixes, and technical decisions


Technical Must-Haves

Experience with AWS, including serverless infrastructure
Hands-on experience with Amazon API Gateway and AWS Lambda
Strong understanding of identity, authentication, and security concepts
Experience supporting production systems (Node.js or Python preferred)
Comfortable taking technical direction and executing reliably
Experience with maintenance and QA testing (not just new builds)


Big Plus

Experience with e-signature platforms
Exposure to AWS Cognito, SQS, EventBridge, SES, or Pinpoint
Familiarity with API-based or event-driven architectures
