Role Overview This role is for a hands-on full stack engineer who enjoys ownership, autonomy, and building real products used in real environments. You’ll work closely with product and senior technical leadership to stabilize and evolve Heylo’s platform as we grow our customer base. You’ll help shape how the system works, improve what’s already been built, and contribute meaningfully to long-term scalability. What You’ll Do Build and maintain high-quality web applications using React and Node.js Contribute to our Android tablet app (Flutter/Dart) Help scale and stabilize the platform as our customer base grows Partner with product and design to translate real user needs into reliable, well-crafted software Improve application performance, reliability, and developer experience Contribute to frontend/backend architecture decisions, documentation, and technical planning Who You Are A thoughtful, mission-driven engineer who cares about building technology that truly helps people Comfortable owning features independently while collaborating closely with others Curious by default—asks why, pushes for clarity, and enjoys learning Clear communicator, especially in remote or async environments Required Qualifications 4–7+ years of professional software development experience Frontend experience building and maintaining production web applications Experience with React or a similar modern frontend framework Experience collaborating with backend systems and APIs (Node.js or similar) Comfort working across the stack Experience working in high-autonomy or early-stage environments Strong communication skills and a product-oriented mindset Nice to Have Experience working at a startup or on a small, high-ownership engineering team Exposure to IoT systems, hardware integrations, or device-driven software Familiarity with healthcare, safety-critical, or other regulated environments Why Join Us?
