About the Role This is a hands-on role with significant architectural influence across our entire stack. You will be responsible for designing systems, shipping features, and leveraging AI to increase delivery speed while maintaining world-class engineering standards. What You Will Do End-to-End Delivery: Design, implement, and ship cross-functional features from database schema to final UI. Backend Systems: Build and evolve robust APIs and domain services in Python and Django. Frontend Architecture: Develop performant, maintainable UIs in React and TypeScript. Distributed Workflows: Design reliable asynchronous workflows using Celery and Redis. Data Integrity: Improve PostgreSQL performance and manage complex data models. Quality & Observability: Raise the bar for engineering quality through rigorous testing, CI/CD, and observability. AI-Assisted Development: Use AI tools to accelerate implementation and refactoring while maintaining human-in-the-loop standards for security and correctness. Technical Environment Backend: Python, Django, Django REST Framework Frontend: React, TypeScript, Vite, Redux Data: PostgreSQL, Redis Infrastructure: Celery, Docker, GitHub Actions Workflow: uv, pnpm, AI-augmented development What We Are Looking For Experience: 7+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experience with meaningful ownership. Backend Depth: Strong systems experience, specifically with Python and relational database design. Frontend Expertise: Deep knowledge of React and modern frontend architecture patterns. Async Systems: Experience operating production systems with background processing and distributed workflows. High Standards: A commitment to code quality, maintainability, and architectural clarity.
