We build AI agents that increase revenue capture and automate clinical workflows such as documentation, billing, and EMR clicks for orthopedic practices. Our founders are experienced veterans. We just won first place at the MIT Sloan Healthcare Innovations Prize. We're live at 10+ practices across 4 states with zero churn, 98%+ documentation accuracy, and surgeons who love the product so much they become investors. The founding team consists of successful former founders who have previously raised from notable investors including MIT and a16z speedrun. Our broader team includes surgeons trained across HSS, UCSF, Cleveland Clinic, UTSW, Stanford, and John Hopkins. The Role You'll be embedded directly with our customers — orthopedic surgeons, billers, and practice managers — building and deploying AI solutions on-site. This isn't a "build features from a backlog" role. You'll be in clinics, watching workflows, identifying bottlenecks, and shipping solutions the same week. At Mira, you’ll be working with a group of like-minded builders, who love to move fast and deliver great products. The Role Responsibilities Work alongside our senior engineers to develop the Mira Health codebase learning and leveraging full-stack best practices to continue creating a product people love to use. Take ownership of core product features from just an idea to something being used by our partners in production. Work closely with surgeon customers to understand their core needs and build with them in mind. The Non-Negotiable Experience in Javascript/Typescript, React, and familiarity with the broader web-dev ecosystem. Strong AI native skills and experience building great products Experience working with the Next.js App Router. The drive and desire to make a positive change in the world and to know that what you did made a difference. Strong curiosity and a core belief that no problem is unsolvable with a willingness to learn. Autonomy and Ambition. Even if you didn’t work for us, you’d be making an impact somewhere (company or no company). Compensation The expected salary for this role is between 160K to 180K base with competitive equity. Benefits & Perks Able to be fully remote and work on your own hours (although we’d love for you to meet us in person for the fun stuff) Unlimited PTO A team that inspires (we’re selective in recruiting - our founding team has proven industry professionals from some of the largest tech firms.) Beyond compensation, there are a few things that we believe make working at Mira Health truly unique: Mentorship and Growth: As much as we want you to be part of our team forever, we know that you may have another end goal in mind. At Mira Health, we’ll mentor you and introduce you to our contacts to help you grow in both your role and wherever the future may take you. So when you figure out what area you want to grow in next, we'll make sure you get there. Autonomy: We have very few meetings. Your time is sacred, whether it's at work, or outside of work. Ownership: We're a company with a high ownership, high autonomy culture. We hope that you'll come in, help us, and do the best work of your life. When we bring you onboard, we expect you to change the company. Novel problems/solutions: We're a startup that's innovative and bold which lets us implement novel solutions! We abhor “busywork” and think, whether it's community, engineering, operations, etc there's always an opportunity for creative and high-leverage solutions.
