The Role: We're looking for a Frontend Engineer to help us design and build polished, high-performance user interfaces across our Tauri-based desktop application and Merget Hub — our web-based collaboration platform for developers. You'll work closely with the rest of our engineering team to bring complex data to life through dashboards, interactive graph visualizations, and dynamic interfaces. This is a high-impact role where your work will be visible in everything our users touch. What You'll Do: Build and maintain responsive, production-quality frontend interfaces using Svelte and TypeScript within a Tauri desktop application and on the web Design and implement interactive dashboards and dynamic graph/tree visualizations that surface complex data clearly for Merget Hub and the desktop app Collaborate with designers and backend engineers to define and ship new product features end-to-end Optimize rendering performance for data-heavy views and real-time updates Contribute to frontend architecture decisions and help establish UI/UX patterns as the team grows What We're Looking For: 1+ years of professional experience in frontend development Strong proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript and a modern frontend framework (Svelte preferred) Hands-on experience building dashboards, data visualizations, or dynamic graph-based interfaces A sharp eye for design detail and a commitment to delivering clean, intuitive user experiences Comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment with a high degree of ownership Nice to Have: Full-stack experience (Node.js, Python, or Rust backend work) Experience with Tauri or other desktop application frameworks (Electron, etc.) Experience with graph rendering libraries (D3.js, Cytoscape, React Flow, etc.) Familiarity with developer tools, version control internals, or AI-assisted workflows Compensation: The base salary range for this role is $75,000 – $180,000 per year.
