We offer testing services so that when people order from online vendors, they can send a sample to our labs to be analyzed. These crowd-sourced test results are made publicly available as a ranked database of vendors, compounds, and countries, enabling safer purchasing. Finnrick is a “Yelp for peptides vendors,” initially targeting the U.S. market. Our goal is to significantly improve the peptides market by eliminating unsafe vendors and practices through rigorous testing, data-driven insights, and transparent reporting. Front-End Engineer (Europe to CT Timezones) We’re seeking a Front-End Engineer who has experience with demanding, data-heavy UI/UX design, capable of independently producing clean, intuitive, and visually appealing interfaces. You'll collaborate closely with our full-stack engineer and a freelance designer to evolve www.finnrick.com, focusing on clear, accessible, and attractive presentation of complex data. Your work will support both casual visitors seeking straightforward insights and specialists looking for detailed analyses. Primary Responsibilities ● Develop, enhance, maintain the Finnrick Analytics mobile-first web front-end, ensuring each page is visually appealing, easy to understand, and intuitive to use. ● Own front-end technical quality: search engine and AI impact, accessibility, client-side performance, effective use of analytics for product and marketing. ● Work with the team to deploy growth hacking tactics, optimize the site's presentation when sharing on various social platforms, commercial performance. • Leverage AI tools extensively throughout development workflow to maximize productivity, code quality, and innovation speed. Qualifications ● Proven ability to develop and build elegant, user-centric interfaces, in collaboration with a freelance designer and Finnrick leadership. Good taste and autonomous design capability a big plus. ● Experience building sites with thousands of templated, data-heavy pages. Significant experience in creating meaningful and gorgeous data visualization (specifically structured data tables rather than graphs) a huge plus. ● Strong skill in implementing analytics, some skill in consuming analytics to measure performance and guide iterative improvements, and experience autonomously cycling through such performance iterations. Experience proactively sharing such analytics-based insights with the broader team a big plus. ● Experience optimizing client-side and search engine-facing performance (browser rendering speed, file sizes and CDN use, rendering sequence, caching, etc.). Experience building for accessibility a plus. ● Can deliver high velocity of development, comfortable prioritizing rapid iteration and frequent releases of good-enough code to learn quickly and at minimal cost, emphasizing practical and adaptable solutions. Experience with our stack (Figma, Tailwind Node.js app hosted on Vercel, Plausible analytics, Ghost for content/email) a plus. Experience and success using AI to speed up coding a huge plus. ● Startup experience, comfortable with changing direction and occasional setbacks. Early-stage startup or founder experience a huge plus. Demonstrated experience and success using AI to accelerate coding is required. • Must be proficient in using AI coding assistants (such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, or similar) to enhance development speed, generate boilerplate code, debug issues, and explore new approaches. Experience integrating AI tools into daily workflow and measuring productivity gains a huge plus. • Comfortable with AI-assisted code review, refactoring, and optimization. Ability to effectively prompt AI tools for complex front-end challenges and validate AI-generated solutions. ***First hand experience using and understanding peptides is a requirement.
