We are moving from internal experimentation toward externally facing products that must convert, retain, and scale users. As functionality expands, our frontend becomes increasingly data-intensive and interaction-heavy, and execution quality directly impacts product success. About the Role Join Fluent to own frontend execution and maintenance across all external touch points: testnet/mainnet interfaces, marketing website, user-facing products such as Fluent Connect and Prints. You will work closely with GTM to understand roadmap priorities and directly with Design to turn static and dynamic prototypes into polished experiences quickly and efficiently. While this role is task driven, the expectation is autonomy, precision, and proactive communication that reduces iteration cycles across the team. Responsibilities Implement pixel-accurate UI from detailed design specifications Translate static and dynamic prototypes into production-quality interfaces Independently review UX flows before coding and surface gaps early Translate complex datasets into clear, understandable UI Implement interaction behavior and lightweight animation when needed Build responsive layouts that work reliably across devices, including mobile Quality & Ownership: Proactively QA your own work before calling it ready for review Minimize regressions during iteration Ensure mobile behavior works correctly before review cycles Flag UX or product issues before release Communication & Delivery: Communicate scope, risks, and progress clearly across Engineering and GTM teams Break features into realistic scopes and provide reliable timelines Execute on tight timelines with limited review and testing cycles Reduce back-and-forth interpretation and coordination overhead What Success Looks Like Design → development → review happens in a small number of cycles “Ready for review” means production-level ready Fewer bugs and regressions during iteration Mobile works correctly on first implementation Timelines are predictable and trusted across teams The frontend makes the product easier to understand, not harder UX issues are caught before they ship Ideal Candidate Technical Strong production experience with modern frontend tooling: TypeScript, React, Vite, and Tailwind Can reason about frontend architecture and tradeoffs (state, data flow, component boundaries) Strong understanding of browser fundamentals (DOM, rendering, layout, performance) Experience with state management patterns (local vs global, derived state, async state) Comfort reasoning about data fetching, caching, and invalidation Performance awareness (re-renders, memoization, bundle size, perceived latency) Experience writing or maintaining frontend tests (unit, integration, or e2e) Comfort shipping without perfect test coverage, but with clear risk assessment Experience integrating onchain data and wallets using web3 libraries (e.g. viem, wagmi, Privy) across EVM and SVM environments Core Has shipped and maintained real, user-facing products (not only dashboards or internal tools) Comfortable working directly with designers and interpreting intent Naturally sanity-checks flows and edge cases before implementation Strong attention to visual precision and interaction quality Communicates blockers early Able to scope work realistically and maintain delivery predictability Works independently without heavy supervision Bonus Experience translating messy or complex data-intensive backend layers into clear UI Experience with interaction-heavy applications Experience implementing motion or micro-interactions Thinks about UX while coding, not after Compensation & Benefits Competitive equity compensation with meaningful ownership Flexible PTO and a focus on outcome-driven work Remote-first team with flexible hours and time zone alignment Home office setup stipend Regular team offsites for deep work, planning, and connection
