The Position We’re hiring a Founding Software Engineer to join the Ryflo team during the V1 build. You’ll be part of the core SWE team and will help shape the product from day one: architecture, implementation, shipping, iteration, and the way we operate as an engineering team. This is a remote, super-flexible role built for someone who wants real ownership and is excited by early-stage chaos (the good kind). Compensation is equity from day one, with a monthly salary starting once we close the first part of our current round. What You'll Do Build and ship core V1 features end-to-end; collaborate with the founder + SWE team on product and technical decisions; help define architecture, code standards, and engineering workflows; move fast with short feedback loops (build → test → ship → improve); own projects and features like it’s your product (because it is); contribute to a culture of high velocity, high quality, and no-BS communication. Who You Are You’re a builder. You don’t wait for perfect specs. You like shipping, learning fast, and taking responsibility. You’re ambitious, motivated, and genuinely excited by the idea of building a fintech startup at the earliest stage. You’re the kind of person who sees “zero to one” as fun, not stressful. You'll be a great fit if... you can build (frontend, backend, or full-stack) and can learn whatever you don’t know quickly you’ve shipped real things (apps, products, side projects, open-source, anything you can show) you’re comfortable with ambiguity and don’t need hand-holding you like speed but still care about clean, scalable code; you’re proactive, direct, and collaborative you want a real seat at the table and are excited by equity + upside bonus points if you’ve worked on fintech, payments, investing, security, or anything regulated (but it’s not required).
