Hiring: Founding Backend Software Engineer (Remote)



We’re a fast-growing startup building an AI-powered recruiting platform that unifies the hiring lifecycle end to end. We’re looking for a Founding Software Engineer to help build and scale our core backend systems.


What you’ll do:

Build scalable backend services in TypeScript (NestJS preferred)
Design REST & GraphQL APIs
Work with PostgreSQL, Redis, and modern cloud infrastructure
Collaborate with AI, frontend, and product teams
Own architecture, performance, and reliability


What we’re looking for:

4+ years backend engineering experience
Strong Node.js / TypeScript skills
Experience with APIs, databases, Docker, and CI/CD
Startup mindset and high ownership
