Today companies can build AI agents, but they cannot reliably control what those agents actually do once they run. There is no runtime enforcement layer for AI. Plaisio is building the infrastructure that governs how AI agents, machines, and humans execute actions across systems. Think distributed policy enforcement, identity-driven execution control, and real-time authorization across complex environments. This is foundational infrastructure for the agentic era. We are looking for a founding engineer who wants to help design and build the core system from the ground up. What You’ll Build You will work directly with the founders to design and implement the core architecture behind Plaisio, including: • Distributed policy enforcement and authorization systems • A runtime control plane governing AI execution across systems • Identity-driven execution frameworks for agents, machines, and humans • High-scale distributed infrastructure for real-time decisioning • Security-first architecture designed for enterprise environments This is a zero-to-one system design challenge, not incremental product development. What We're Looking For We’re searching for engineers who have built deep infrastructure before, such as: • Distributed systems or control planes • Security infrastructure or identity systems • Policy engines or authorization frameworks • High-performance backend systems at scale Ideal experience might include companies building infrastructure like: Identity platforms, security infrastructure, developer infrastructure, cloud control planes, or distributed data systems.
